System
1 - Full Hydraulic
|
|
|
|
|
System
1 is composed of a handlebar pump, hydraulic pipe (also
available in stainless steel), and caliper with two
opposite pistons. This small, lightweight, and totally
reliable brake is highly recommended for use on-road
as well as for cross-country riding and freeriding.
The hubs, just like all of the other systems described
below, are strictly "heavy duty", and
feature water proof ball bearings with robust disk holder,
flanges, cassette for 8 or 9 speeds, and diamond-finished
surface. The disk (available in 185, 160 and 140 diameter)
are made of stainless steel with helical design for
quicker cooling.

Like
System 1, System 2 is composed of a handlebar pump,
hydraulic pipe (also available in stainless steel),
and semi-floating caliper with adjuster with double
side piston. This provides even more powerful braking,
making System 2 ideal for downhill riding.

This is a completely new concept in hydraulic brake
systems, composed of a caliper with pump and tank incorporated
in a single unit. This means that the brake lever can
be used with a normal bicycle cable, making assembly
extremely simple while mainteining all the power and
flexibility of a hydraulic brake.
The system 4 caliper is semi-floating with center adjuster,
and is driven by a side piston.
The Sytem 4 is recommended for any on-road and off-road
use.

|
|
|
Based
on the same concept of System 4, but with semi-floating
caliper with center adjuster driven by two side pistons
for increased braking power, making it suitable for
downhill use like System 2.

This
is a small, economical mechanical caliper driven by brake
lever and normal bicycle cable, with purely mechanical
movement of the side piston.
Recommended for those using a bicycle disk brake for
the first time. |

Like
System 1, System 8 is composed of a handlebar pump, hydraulic
pipe (also available in stainless steel) and caliper with
4 opposite and differentiated pistons. This small, lightweight
and totally reliable brake is highly recommended for use
on-road as well as for cross-country riding
and freeriding. |

3-spokes
S wheels in special Aluminium
and wheels in Magnesium alloy
An
absolutely new product: beyond their futuristic design,
Grimeca special alloy wheels assure long life and stability
that far exceed common spoked wheels.
Because they are in a special aluminium alloy and on
bearings, they require no maintenance. In addition,
they assure better assembling, centering, and braking
performance with disk compared to common spoked wheels.
The
Millennium Magnesium wheels are the ultimate lightest
and strongest solution for the bicycle disk brake: indeed
the Mag wheels avoid any problem of re-truing the wheel
which is typical of the traditional spoked wheels, which
will come out of true much faster with the disk brake.
Moreover
the Mag wheels allow the fitting-with Tubeless tyres
without any problem. As for the motorcycles, also the
bicycles disk brake needs a Mag wheel, and the Magnesium
wheels of our production are the synthesis of the most
modern technology and functional design needed in the
New Millennium.
